Western Trading Company is a 27-year-old firm established in 1995. The company has been at the forefront of bringing the latest and most innovative technologies to the state of Gujarat.
Western Trading Company was formed with a vision “To improve patients’ quality of life in India by providing the best surgical technology”.
Currently, we are Channel Partners of Global Medical Device companies like Medtronic. Bbraun, Spatz and Rocket.
Our History
Western Trading Company is a proprietary business of Mr. Jaimin Joshi. Our proprietor studied Master’s in Geology. He
1990: He started his career with Sales Job at Raptakos & Brett based in Vadodara.
1991: After learning and excelling at his sales job, he was offered an opportunity to work with Johnson & Johnson in the suture business.
1992: With his excellent performance, he was selected for Ethicon Indo-Surgery. During those times laparoscopy was a new radical approach to Lap-cholecystectomy and to spread awareness of this new modality he was trained in Anatomy and Surgical skills at Cincinnati Training Centre of Ethicon Indo-Surgery.
1995: After training close to 150 surgeons and running around a lot he decided to start his own distribution network. Rest is History.

Channel Partners for Medtronic’s stapler division. We handle all internally and externally used staplers.

Channel Partners for Medtronic’s range of varied range of composite and regular mesh, titanium and absorbable fixation devices.
Medtronic Suture
Channel Partners for Medtronic’s suture range of division. Suture division has Absorable, Non Absorbable, Monofilament Braided and Barbed sutures. The most popular brands are Polysorb, Surgripro, Maxon, Dermalon and VLoc.
Medtronic Valleylab
Channel Partner for Valleylab range of cautery machines and sealing devices. ForceFX, Ligasure and Force Triad (FT10) machines.
